The short version

No accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter, no advertising, no comment section, and no tracking pixels. There is nothing here to log into and nothing to opt out of.

The calculators

The calculators run entirely in your browser. What you type into them is never sent anywhere, never stored, and never seen by me. Close the tab and it is gone. That is why none of them have a “save” button.

Server logs

The web host records ordinary request information: IP address, time, page requested, browser type. This happens on essentially every website and is used to keep the site running and to see roughly which pages get read. It is not linked to any identity and is not sold or shared.

Links out

Pages here link to outside sites, mostly government ones like the IRS, the Department of Labor and the FTC, and sometimes to a bookseller. Once you follow a link you are on their site and their privacy terms apply, not these.

Children

This site is written for adults, about teenagers. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.

Changes

If any of this changes, this page changes and the date at the top moves. Questions are welcome.
